You might be thinking to yourself “I do not understand why so many people are so obsessed with conventional marketing channels.” Well, I’m not going to argue that conventional marketing channels are bad. In fact, they can provide an advantage. If you are selling a product that you know you can’t create or do more advanced things with, then you’re probably best off finding an alternative channel to promote that specific product.
Yes, that s absolutely true, but I think that everyone is forgetting a key point: conventional marketing channels arent for everyone. For most people conventional marketing channels are just another way people try to market their product to the people that it is most likely going to sell to.
I think most of us have had this experience with conventional marketing channels. We just end up doing what we know we can do best. As long as marketing channels are as effective as conventional marketing channels, then I don’t think there is any need to worry about the type of marketing channel you are promoting in.

People use the internet to find out about companies and products, usually through blogs and websites. If you want to sell something, you want to make sure that the person you’re trying to sell to can find the product anywhere. That is why you must be direct.
