Many times, I find myself trying to talk people into my ideas. Sometimes it’s good to just be honest, and sometimes it’s necessary.

I’ve been working on new ways to get companies to hire me, and one of the things is getting them to think about marketing. I can get them to think about a product by talking about its attributes and benefits. For example, a coffee maker with the ability to last 7,000+ hours has a 5 years warranty. But a lot of marketing campaigns are all about the price. A lot of people are used to the idea that price is the most important element.
